APC Smart UPS cable
This cable connects your PC to a Smart UPS from APC. This will allow your PC to shutdown before the UPS is out of power.
At UPS side:
- pin 1 is RX / Shutdown
- pin 2 is TX / AC Fail
- pin 9 is Ground
At the PC end (female connector): pins 1,4 (DCD, DTR) and pins 7,8 (RTS, CTS) must be shorted.
At UPS side:
- pin 1 is RX / Shutdown
- pin 2 is TX / AC Fail
- pin 9 is Ground
At the PC end (female connector): pins 1,4 (DCD, DTR) and pins 7,8 (RTS, CTS) must be shorted.
